Every year the Feng Shui energies change on the 4th February. You can tap into these energies on a yearly basis to achieve the goals that you want for the forthcoming year. This year is the Year of the Ox and there are certain areas that you can enhance to attract abundance up until 3rd February 2010. Although we are nearly at the end of the Year of the Ox the following recommendations can still be put in place. The Year of the Tiger 2010 will commence on 4th February, 2010.

Prince's plans for Feng Shui Chinatown

Traditionally, feng shui (pronounced fong shway) is used to help choose a place to live and find an appropriate burial site. But to ensure their fair share of health, wealth and harmony, adherents nowadays tend to confine their practices to a bit of furniture redistribution and foliage realignment to achieve the positive energy, or Qi (pronounced chee).

Feng Shui and Apartment Living

Feng Shui for apartments and high rise accommodation are dealt with slightly differently to Feng Shui for houses.
In apartments, apart from the external landforms and the other apartment buildings if you are in a complex, we need to assess the entrance to the building, the lifts to each floor, where your apartment is in relation to the lift and which floor you are living on. The location of your main door, kitchen and bedrooms are important. We are limited if any renovations or alterations are required to improve the Feng Shui.
For a house we concentrate on the external landforms, the main door, kitchen and bedrooms but it is easier to make those alterations or renovations.
In a Feng Shui analysis for an apartment or a high rise building it can be quite difficult today with modern architecture to judge the facing of the building. Some apartment blocks I have seen, seem to have several facings, or no facing at all such as ones that are completely round. Your main door in most cases of apartment living is not considered the facing of the building. Why is the facing so important? Rare‚ ancient practice could benefit business

Retailers and suppliers are always looking for new ways to improve their profitability and abundance‚ but they may be doing it the hard way. Feng shui‚ an ancient Chinese practice which could benefit many businesses has been overlooked by executives.
Only 7% of local offices have been arranged using the practices of feng shui‚ according to a survey released last year by Australian recruitment and human resources firm Talent2.
